Healing, Growth, and Leadership for Educators
At Kintsugi Educator Retreats, we believe that educators are the foundation of thriving communities. Our retreats are designed to restore balance, provide healing, and ignite inspiration, ensuring that educators can continue to lead with resilience and purpose.
Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, where broken pottery is repaired with gold, we embrace the philosophy that imperfections and challenges are not setbacks, but opportunities for transformation. Through our immersive experiences, educators of color can step away, reflect, and return with renewed energy—both personally and professionally.

Our Mission
We support educators in developing sustainable wellness practices and leadership strategies that not only enrich their lives but also transform classrooms, schools, and communities.
At the heart of our work is The Kintsugi Process, a six-step method designed to guide educators through reflection, healing, and implementation, ensuring long-term personal and professional growth.
The Kintsugi Process: A Path to Educator Wellness
At Kintsugi Educator Retreats, we believe that sustainable wellness is key to effective leadership—for educators, for students, and for entire communities.
Signature six-step method
Our signature six-step method, The Kintsugi Process, guides educators through a powerful journey of self-reflection, healing, and renewal
Reflect
Step away from the daily demands of teaching and take time to reconnect with your purpose in an environment that encourages deep reflection.
Recover
Heal in community with like-minded educators. Share experiences, build support networks, and develop strategies to recover from stress, burnout, and overwhelm.
Reinvigorate
Reawaken your spirit through ancestral healing traditions, immersive wellness practices, and ceremonies that restore balance.
Renew
Set meaningful, intentional goals that align with your personal well-being and professional aspirations.
Render
Create a realistic, actionable wellness plan to sustain your growth beyond the retreat. Each participant receives a special retreat gift to remind them of their commitments.
Re-Enter
Return to your school and community stronger, more centered, and ready to implement the insights and strategies gained from the retreat.
Meet the Team
With a passion for culturally responsive teaching, wellness, and global learning, we created Kintsugi Educator Retreats to help educators find healing, inspiration, and the tools they need to sustain their impact.
Educators deserve a space to heal, recharge, and grow. Our retreats offer the chance to step away, reflect, and return with a renewed sense of purpose—because your well-being matters just as much as your impact.
